- For the people of Haiti in the wake of
the devastation of the earthquake. For the Methodist church
and their leaders as they work to rebuild.
- For upcoming evangelism seminar in Brazil in August (17-24, 2010).
- For the upcoming meetings of our
Institute, as well as various conferences currently pending.
- For restoration c/o those who have
lost (family members & friends), homes and property during floods.
- During Lent and/or during the period
between Easter and Pentecost, Methodists in 130 countries opt to
follow the Wesleyan Pattern of Prayer and Fasting by going without
solid food after their evening meal each Thursday until
mid-afternoon each Friday.

We thank God for a
mighty evangelical move in our Evangelism Seminars in India last
January, in South Africa last August, and in New Zealand last April. We give God thanks for the
growth of the Methodist/Wesleyan movement, now by more than a million
members each year, now well over 76 million. |

World Methodist Evangelism Institute is a
ministry of the World Methodist Council and the Candler School of Theology but we are financially
supported through donations and contributions. This is the time of year
when we look for the support of the Friends of the Institute and begin
making plans for the next year. |
