Brazil Regional Evangelism Seminar

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil March 24-April 2, 2003

One Hundred and thirty-nine (139) delegates attended from all eight conferences of Brazil and from the United States.

THEME:  
The theme “Timeless Gospel for the New Millennium” invited the participants to focus on the contextual and eternal implications of the Gospel.  It focused on Jesus Christ as the Savior of all humanity, for every person, race, culture, and people in every millennium.  It urged churches to dynamically discover new methods of evangelism and mission for and by varying cultures in the new millennium.

Strategies

Delegates from participant churches shared current evangelism materials from their churches with each other – both in Portuguese and English.  Creative strategies for evangelism were proposed and delegates signed a covenant to carry our specific evangelism ministries in the future.
