Students will receive  3 hours of academic credit as a Mission or Evangelism course, when enrolling in appropriate course with Dr. Arun Jones, Dan and Lillian Hankey Associate Professor of Evangelism, Candler School of Theology at Emory University.

Tuesday May 21 – Depart USA

Wednesday May 22 – Arrive London

Thursday May 23 – City Tour of London
Enjoy a panoramic tour of London where you will see Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Hyde Park and Trafalgar Square.

Friday May 24 – Panoramic Aldersgate Anniversary
As John Wesley did on that day, we will join choir in the Evensong at St. Paul’s Cathedral.  Have a time of thanksgiving at the Aldersgate Flame Monument where Wesley had is heart warming experience.  Pray at Susanna Wesley’s gave in Bunhill Fields Cemetery.  Celebrate and praise in a worship service in Wesley’s City Road Chapel.

Saturday May 25 – Free Day in London

Sunday May 26 – Bristol, Hanham Mount & Pill
Visit the port city of Bristol, attend a lecture in one of Wesley’s early centers of ministry.  See the “New Room” in the oldest Methodist building in the world.  Stop in Hanham Mount where John Wesley preached his first open air sermons.  Visit Pill, a port on the River Avon and see the monument of the first Methodist preachers.

Monday May 27 – Coventry, Cotswolds and Gloucester
In Coventry, view the charred ruins of the old cathedral shattered on November 14, 1940.  Enjoy a scenic drive through the charming villages of the Cotswolds.  Visit Burton-on-the Water, one of the most visited Cotswolds villages.  Go to the city of Gloucester, boasting a small church that changed the world!  Visit St. Mary de Crypt, home of 2 major influences on Wesley; George Whitefield & Robert Raikes.

Tuesday May 28 – Epworth
Travel to remote Epworth in the Fen Country.  View where Wesley raised their brood of children in the Old Rectory.  See Memorial Church, built with contributions from around the world.  Visit St. Andrews Church.

Thursday May 29 – Return to USA

$20 Early Application Fee Due by December 18, 2012 OR  Final Application Fee Deadline by January 16, 2013
