About the Wesleyan Seminary of Venezuela
In October, 2002 the first seminary class of 42 students was taught by Bishop Luis Palomo, Costa Rica and David Cosby, seminary professor, Mexico. The seminary began in partnership with the Evangelical Methodist Seminary of Costa Rica. Since 2002, an average of five seminary sessions of one week each have been taught annually. One or two courses are normally taught per week. These courses are taught in a non-traditional manner offering intensive weeks instead of the traditional residential program. This non-traditional offering is required to make quality theological education accessible in the cultural context of Venezuela.
