S3 Fund

The World Methodist Evangelism Institute has established the Seminary Students Scholarship (S3) Fund.   The purpose is to provide financial scholarships to active North America seminary students who participate in a WMEI seminar.

For seminary students, it often difficult to find funding for schooling, let alone to raise additional funds for international courses & seminars provided by WMEI.  Former student alumni, who are now leaders of our churches, have benefited from attending these events and many were able to attend because they received a scholarship.  The S3 Fund provides a wonderful way support those in the coming generations.

WMEI provides marvelous opportunities for students from Candler School of Theology and other seminaries to participate in international seminars for 3 hours of academic credit, and additional seminars and events sponsored by WMEI.    These seminars experiences are still impacting the lives of pastors, seminary students and laity alike who travel with us all over the world.  In this connection, WMEI has had to increase its scholarship support for seminary students to attend our seminars, and hence now has to raise funding annually for this purpose.
