World Methodist Evangelism Institute launched the ReThinking Seminar Series.  The training events focus on topics for growing the church, featuring best practices presented by leaders in the across the Methodist / Wesleyan family of denominations.

PracticalFSReThinkingSeminarSeriesLogoWe are pleased to announce the ReThinking Practical Faith-Sharing seminars.  This series was first taught in 2016 and continues to grow in 2017.  Training dates and locations will be posted in the Upcoming Training block to the right.  Anyone who wishes to desires to have more confidence in sharing their faith story should attend.

ReThinkingWelcome-Logo2The series  ReThinking Welcome, has been held in Atlanta, GA, Oklahoma City, OK and St. Simon Island, Ga.  This series focused on training lay and clergy leaders in ReThinking the Congregation’s Welcome to reach new persons and become more missional for Christ.  It exposes leaders to new thinking and practice of the congregation welcome in the Methodist / Wesleyan movement in North America.  Workshop presenters are from around the United States and include leaders & evangelist from the Church of the Nazarene, African Methodist Episcopal Zion, Free Methodist and United Methodist Church denominations.

The first in series ReThinking Mission In the Methodist / Wesleyan Movement in North America session was held in Atlanta, GA, at Candler School of Theology, Emory University.  The series focuses on training lay and clergy leaders in ReThinking mission and evangelism to reach new persons and become more missional for Christ.  It will expose leaders to some new thinking and practice of evangelism and mission in the Methodist / Wesleyan movement in North America. Church leaders from the United Methodist Church, African Methodist Episcopal Church, Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church are lead workshops highlighting practices which are producing results and thought leadership in their areas.  Resources, many authored by the workshop leaders, are provided to each of the seminar participants.
